Establishing sustainable cooperation structures to ensure the continuous recruitment of trainees even after the project has ended

The overarching goal of our project is to establish sustainable cooperation structures that will contribute to the long-term stabilisation of the German, Senegalese and Ghanaian construction industries. Our project brings together a wide range of different actors at national and international level. We strive to develop a common understanding of a Skills Partnership, promote the exchange of experience and knowledge, and pursue the goal of continuing the partnership created within the project even after its completion.

Germany

To ensure sustainable structures, we work closely with the construction associations of North Rhine-Westphalia. The construction associations advise us on technical modules, assist interested companies from Germany with their preparations for departure, and maintain contact with companies and trainees even after their arrival. In addition, the Bertelsmann Foundation supports our project by establishing networks, providing technical and academic input, and acting as a co-financier.
