Placement of apprentices in German construction companies
The construction industry in Germany faces the major challenge of attracting enough apprentices and skilled workers while the population is ageing. In Ghana and Senegal, the situation is reversed. This is where our pilot project Skills Partnerships between Ghana, Senegal and Germany, co-funded by the European Union's European, comes in.
Contact NowWhat we do
Participant selection and preparation
We prepare young people from Ghana and Senegal for dual vocational training in Germany. They are selected according to strict criteria and undergo linguistic, intercultural and professional preparation.
All participants have already completed a recognised vocational training programme in the construction sector in their country of origin. This ensures a substantial level of technical knowledge, as well as a genuine interest and motivation to work in the construction sector.
Matching of apprentices and companies
Once the candidates have passed the B1 exam, we organise a virtual interview in which interested companies and future apprentices can get to know each other.
Support in the visa and departure process
If the initial interview goes well, our team supports companies and apprentices in coordinating the visa and departure process, provides advice on important services available after arrival, and is on hand to answer any questions.

The provision of a suitable accommodation that is affordable for the apprentices
The contribution to the costs of preparation in the country of origin
The reimbursement for the departure flight (max. €900) 12 months after the trainee's arrival.
